We have been following along with you every day. We are grieving with you although cannot fully comprehend how you must feel right now. May the mighty arms of our God carry you through this time. Very much love.
Dear, Dear Lord - open your arms and provide a safe haven for this family. We can't imagine your pain right now, but we send you our love, along with so many other friends and family. Tears shared with you...but also a smile for the joy and the love Owen brought you. Love you. Bob & Sharon Schnaars
Ian & Ashley - We are praying for you as you go through this time. May our wonderful Savior be with you as you work through this time. We are here for you in whatever you may need. Ethan & Jenn Benner
ahh...tears are falling with yours... We're so sorry to hear of this news of Owen's passing away, this morning. Ultimate healing - yes! - but it doesn't make it any easier to bear. May you find comfort in Jesus' embrace. He will "hold you" and sustain.
Ian and Ashley - you, both- are the ones who have truly fought a fight. You've fought hard. You've done it together. You have wonderful memories. You'll have questions...sorrow...and unexplained feelings. But, don't give up!! We love you and are with you in thoughts and prayers. Owen, is HOME-FREE!!
Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side. Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain. Leave to thy God to order and provide; In every change, He faithful will remain. Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.
Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake To guide the future, as He has the past. Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake; All now mysterious shall be bright at last. Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.
Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart, And all is darkened in the vale of tears, Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart, Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears. Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay From His own fullness all He takes away.
Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on When we shall be forever with the Lord. When disappointment, grief and fear are gone, Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored. Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.
There are no words to express our sincere sympathy to you and your family during this very difficult time. It warms our hearts to know that you trust the Lord but we also know that it still hurts. Jesus promised to be with us during times like these but he also never said it would be easy. Good things hurt that's why they are good. Our dearest and warmest thoughts are being lifted up for you and may the Lords hand be as comforting as it can be during this difficult time in your life.
Ashley and Ian, you may not remember me, but I stayed with the Halteman's back in 2005...I am so sorry to hear of your loss, and I hope and pray that God's love and compassion is helping to sustain you both through this hard trial. Please know that I will continue to pray for you both, for your families, and for your precious son, who is in the loving arms of the Father. I'm so very very sorry, and wish I could give you both a big hug right now.
I am so sorry! Though I can't even begin to understand how you feel, we are crying tears with you and praying for you. I am so sorry!
